Given the content for the 2021 New York Film Festival, the objective of this project was to layout a booklet by establishing a grid and using a single typeface.
I devised a flexible grid to simultaneously accommodate a running strip calendar and project descriptions. This grid then also provided the structure for the bio and interview sections of the booklet.
The cover mimics the orientation of the strip calendar on the interior of the booklet while also referencing the urban typology of New York City, where the film festival was held.
